Web Log Entry #0073, Friday, June 6, 2003: Day 200

Anchorage Sunrise: 4:29am Sunset: 11:28pm High Temp: 60° Low Temp: 47°

Day 200! I feel I should do something to mark the event, but it's raining and cold, so I'll postpone the festivities. I had suggested a group excursion to the First Friday art event downtown, and got some interest. As the week progressed and the weather got worse, people didn't return my calls or emails, so I just rode home with Stan. We've been carpooling. Polite attempts to get a car have been unsuccessful, so I've been riding with Stan all week. Once home for the night, I fire up the laptop and work on my new website (www.AskDr.Eldritch.com), the next evolution of the "Ask Evan!™" part of this website. I forget how much time can be sucked into such a project. Three hours on the computer each evening after a full day of work reduces me to non-verbal levels, so I haven't done much else this week. Still, the website is almost ready to be launched, once I select a host, and I'm going on a Fishing Expedition this weekend near Hidden Lake (if we can find it! Ha ha ha! I crack me up). Maybe the weather will be nicer, and I can celebrate my 200 days in the Frozen North, maybe with a frozen dessert treat.
